Frank Bello demands clarity and punch when plucking out his fast, aggressive grooves while holding down the low end for seminal thrash masters, Anthrax. We took the 105 and 85 gauges from our Dual Dynamic Hybrid Nickel Wound Bass Strings, which feature a nickel outer layer and an inner steel layer for the perfect balance of clarity and punch across the lower register. To keep the higher register thick and round, we used the 65 and 45 strings our Standard Nickel Wound Bass line.
