Desert Sand is a very light, very unsaturated reddish yellow color similar to the coloration of sand. It can also be defined as a deep shade of beige.
Desert Sand was used by General Motors as a paint color for their first Cadillacs.
Fender used it in the late 50’s, especially on their Musicmaster and Duo-Sonic models. It was also used on some Lap Steel of the time.
