The Dark Brown colour has historically stood out for being used historically on the back cover of the Les Paul in the iconic 1959 and part of the 1960s along with other more reddish tones such as Cherry.
This dark brown colour has also recently been replicated in Gibson’s True historic series.
Important: As it is a translucent colour, to obtain the same tone as shown in the photo it is important to use the colour on mahogany wood or a similar tone (dark).
